Tiffany Lampkin was born and raised in Clarksdale, MS. Tiffany was introduced to engineering in a Diversified Technology course that she took in high school. Tiffany earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering in 2004 and her Master’s Degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering in 2007 from Mississippi State University. Tiffany also earned a certificate in Six Sigma while in graduate school at Mississippi State University.
In August 2007, Tiffany joined Shaw Industries’ Operations Management program. In May 2008, Tiffany became the Regional Operations Manager for Shaw’s Albuquerque Regional Distribution center. While at Shaw's Albuquerque Regional Distribution Center, provided industrial engineering analysis of the logistics, people, and policies to increase productivity, created distribution center specific metrics to ensure efficiencies were being identified and tracked, managed a $1.6 million facility budget, managed the facility’s Quality System while developing and training staff on standard operating instructions, created a system based on engineering assessment to reduce employee overtime and create a system of continuous process improvement, and negotiated and provided guidance in contract matters.
In September 2009, Tiffany joined the Air Force Nuclear Weapon Center’s Engineering Directorate at Kirtland Air Force Base as a Systems Engineer. As a Systems Engineer, Tiffany is serving as the Center’s Air Force Systems Engineering Assessment Model Technical Authority, developing operating instructions for the Center, and serving in other roles that focus on continuous process improvement. Tiffany aspires to one day serve in an Executive civilian position for the federal government, pursue another advanced degree, and serve as a motivational speaker for the younger generation.
Tiffany's determination to succeed was highly influenced by her mother at an early age. Tiffany's greatest passion is serving others while building God's kingdom.
