Dell and Robin Lampkin are married and have two children.  Robin graduated from Mississippi State University with a BS in Early Childhood Education and has worked in the field for 15 years. She interned at Eggleston Children’s Hospital in Atlanta and then worked as a Child Life Specialist at the Blair E Batson Children’s Hospital in Jackson, MS. She then transferred to LeBonheur Hospital in Memphis, providing distraction and relaxation to hospitalized children.  Robin also worked as an Early Intervention Specialist for Tennessee’s Early Intervention System providing home visits to families with children with developmental delays for ages from birth to three years of age.
Recently, she has changed careers and has obtained her certification from the Aerobics Fitness Association of America as a Certified Personal Trainer.  She is currently employed as a Personal Trainer for the YMCA.
Dell Lampkin’s initial career aspirations were to become a chef, which led him to join the United States Army as a chef.  Upon returning home he began a career in distribution with the Reebok Corporation. He was with Reebok for 6 years and moved through several departments, beginning in receiving and ending as a Planning Lead.  From Reebok he made the transition to Nike as a Distribution Manager.  After working at Nike for four years, he took the knowledge that he had gained to Williams Sonoma, where he served as Distribution Manager of the largest customization distribution in the region.  He was then offered an opportunity to lead a facility and became Operations Manager of a privately held company, Levenger.
Currently, he has combined his knowledge of distribution with health and fitness. He obtained his AFAA certification as a Personal Trainer and works at the YMCA, as well as being a distribution manager for a spinal technology company, Nuvasive.
