Rosalyn Lampkin-Jones

Rosalyn is the proud wife of Kendall Jones and the mother of two children. She received her Education Specialist Degree in Leadership in Educational Administration,  and a Master of Education degree in Special Education from Delta State University. Rosalyn also completed her Bachelor of Business degree with a major in Finance from Delta State University.
     Currently, Rosalyn is an Inclusion Language Arts teacher for the Memphis City School System. Rosalyn believes that "education unlocks the doors of opportunity to an individual's life; the opportunity to be the best that one can be in a world  that is constantly changing", and that "one of the wonderful aspects of education is the array of paths one can take". Rosalyn also believes that "effective teachers and leaders are driven by their own personal theories and are influenced by their self-efficacy beliefs".
     Rosalyn has developed a heartfelt love for her teaching profession. For her professional dedication, she has been awarded numerous honors that endow her "with  a strong sense of pride and achievement". Her foundation for continuous growth as an educator is her "family values, students' progress and personal achievements".
     At present, Rosalyn is working toward a Doctor of Education Degree in Educational Leadership and Mangement. She describes her "leadership paradigm as inclusive, collaborative and proactive within the diverse range of professionalism and academic cultures". Rosalyn believes that "all children should have equal opportunities to learn". It is her desire as an educator to "help students meet their full potential in these areas by providing a safe environment, supporting risk-taking, and sharing ideas". For her Doctoral degree, Rosalyn plans to do research that leads "directly to improve teaching and learning".
